Chris Tomlin
Chris Tomlin's undeniable energy is contagious and charismatic. Credited with venerable churchchoruses such as “Forever,” “We Fall Down,” and “The Wonderful Cross,” Tomlin is considered one of this era's top songwriters for the church and is recognized as a pivotal voice of today's modern expression of Christianworship.
His first nationally-released solo project, entitled
The Noise We Make, was released in 2001 and saw the emergence of songs "Forever" (his most famous song other than "How Great Is Our God"), "Be Glorified," and "Kindness." Since then, he has released several successful studio albums, most notably
Arriving, which is considered his breakout album since it produced four number one hits ("Indescribable," "Holy Is the Lord,""How Great Is Our God," and "The Way I Was Made"), and two other songs ("On Our Side" and "Mighty Is the Power of the Cross.")
His album
See the Morning, was nominated for two
