Hawk Nelson
The power pop/punk band Hawk Nelson hails from Ontario, Canada and is known for their spurts of infectious, radio-friendly sugar rushes and dynamic live performances. Boasting a GMA Canada Covenant Award for their album, Smile, It's the End of the World (2006), today the foursome is also well-known in the United States.
Hawk Nelson is popular in the Christian music scene, and was voted "Favorite New Artist" by CCM Magazine in their February 2006 Reader's Choice Awards. Their albums include Letters to the President (2004), Smile, It's the End of the World, and Hawk Nelson Is My Friend (2008). Band members Jason Dunn (vocals), Daniel Biro (bass), Jonathan Steingard (guitar), and Justin Benner (drums) are currently traveling the country on their Green T Tour.
